Japanese dairy farmers favor solar energy costs 30 million yen

There are 105 dairy farmers in Hokkaido installed approximately 5,000 solar modules and a total of 1.05 MW Kyocera's solar power system. The total annual power generation of these systems is estimated to be about 1,210,000 kWh, which means that the electricity cost can be saved by about 30 million yen per year, and about 380 tons of carbon dioxide can be reduced (equivalent to planting about 107 hectares of forest). In the Japanese agricultural community, the installation of such a large-scale solar power generation system is the first of its kind.

The installation of a solar power system installed by a dairy farmer (Zhongshan-Beihan-Beihan Village, Hokkaido, Japan) was completed on April 21st and a launching ceremony will be held on May 27.
