Edible vinegar is used as foliar fertilizer and herbicide! Is it reliable?

When I talked to people about herbicides two days ago, I talked about the use of vinegar. After leisure, carefully sort out and found that vinegar has many functions in agriculture.

Edible vinegar contains a variety of amino acids, as well as nucleotides, lactic acid, cytokinins and other components. These substances can be directly absorbed and utilized by crop foliar application, improve photosynthesis, regulate growth, enhance plant resistance, and increase crops. Yield.

Let's take a look at the common use of vinegar in crops:

1, as foliar fertilizer

Edible vinegar can regulate and promote crop growth and development, and foliar application of vinegar has a good yield-increasing effect. There are certain differences in the types of crops applied to the foliage.

Generally, the concentration of vinegar is diluted to 300-500 times (the pH value is close to neutral after dilution). For varieties with waxy flour on the leaf surface, such as wax powder on apple leaves, the spray concentration can be appropriately increased.

Common crop use period:

Wheat use period: 3 spraying at jointing stage, booting stage and filling stage.

Corn use period: 9 leaves are unfolded, 16 leaves are unfolded and sprayed after the loose powder period.

The period of use of watermelon: before flowering, spray on the leaves after flowering.

The period of use of the fruit trees: young fruit stage, expansion period, and foliar application in the early stage of coloring.

2, vinegar as a herbicide

Different concentrations of vinegar also have a certain killing effect on weeds. Dr. studies have shown that 10% to 20% vinegar solution has 80% to 100% killing ability for annual weeds. The killing effect of 5% vinegar on weeds is not obvious, and the concentration may be too high.

In general, vinegar is completely degraded as a herbicide and does not pollute the soil, but vinegar has certain limitations as a herbicide.

Remarks: Edible vinegar is generally divided into two processes of brewing and blending. The effect of brewing vinegar is better than that of blending. The brewed vinegar is softer in taste and smell, and can be easily distinguished from blending.

If you have the experience of using vinegar on crops, you can also share it.
