US researchers find new materials that can be woven into clothes to charge mobile phones

Do you believe that one day, clothes and trousers worn on the body can be used to charge mobile phones and other electronic devices?

Researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Columbia University School of Engineering published an article in the journal Nature on the 15th. They said they discovered a new material, molybdenum disulfide, that can generate electricity when bent or stretched.

The researchers said that this material is only one atom thin and can be woven into the clothes, allowing the body to generate electricity while moving, in order to supply power to the wearable device or the medical equipment installed on the body, or even to the pocket. The phone is charging. (Jing Jing)
