1. Before implementing the installation, we must first know what the measured medium is, gas, liquid or steam.
a. The gas pressure port is preferably located in the upper part of the pipe.
b, the liquid should be placed under the side, but remember not to be placed directly below, because the sediment will affect the normal pressure.
c. The steam pressure port is preferably rotated on the side of the pipe.
2, the orifice plate flowmeter installation direction "+" is positive, is facing the direction of the fluid coming, "-" is negative.
3. The pressure guiding tubes of the positive and negative pressure take-up ports should be kept parallel.
4. When the differential pressure transmitter is connected to the pressure guiding tube, “H†is positive and “L†is negative.
5. Before and after the installation of the orifice flowmeter, the pipe section must be kept straight and maintain the roundness of the pipe. The bending will affect the accuracy of the measurement data.
6, the new installation of the pipeline system, the pipeline must be installed after the pipeline flushing and sweeping.
7. The center of the orifice plate should coincide with the centerline of the pipeline. The concentricity error should not exceed the value of 0.015 (1/β -1).
8. When installing the orifice plate in the pipeline, ensure that the end face is perpendicular to the pipe axis and the verticality error shall not exceed ±1°.
9. The gasket for clamping the orifice plate (including the ring chamber and the flange, between the ring chamber and the orifice plate) shall not protrude into the inner wall of the pipe after clamping.
10. The installation of the orifice plate must be tight and no leakage is allowed. Therefore, the installation work must be carried out before the pipeline is pressure tested.
11. The pressure guiding pipe should be laid vertically or obliquely, and its inclination should not be less than 1:12. For fluids with higher viscosity, the slope should also increase. When the differential pressure signal transmission distance is greater than 3 meters, the pressure guiding tube shall be inclined in sections, and the air collector and the settler shall be installed at the highest point and the lowest point respectively.
12. In order to avoid distortion of differential pressure signal transmission, the positive and negative pressure guiding tubes should be laid as close as possible, and anti-freezing measures should be taken in severe cold areas. Electrothermal or steam insulation can be used, but to prevent the superheated vaporization of the measured medium and the generation of gas in the pressure guiding tube to cause a false differential pressure.
