Light pressure test transformer operation steps and precautions

The high-voltage test transformer is a basic test equipment used by a large number of users of power plants, power supply bureaus, and research institutes to conduct AC voltage withstand tests, and has passed the standards of the National Bureau of Quality Supervision for various electrical products, electrical components, and insulating materials. Such as the insulation strength test under the specified voltage, assessment of the product's insulation level, found that the insulation of the test product defects, measure the ability of over-voltage.

Light high voltage test transformer operation steps:

1. Connect the leads according to the wiring schematic diagram, and ground the transformer and control box reliably.

2. Before the test, check whether the wiring of each part is in good contact, and check whether the voltage regulator of the control box is adjusted to “zero”;

3, connected to power, green indicator light, press the start button, red indicator light, indicating that the transformer has power, waiting for boost;

4. Rotate the pressure regulator handle clockwise to increase the pressure, and pay close attention to the indication of the instrument and the condition of the sample;

5, after the test is completed, the voltage should be quickly reduced to zero, and press the stop button, then cut off the power, untie the test lead.

Light high voltage test transformer Note:

1. When doing high-pressure tests, it must be attended by 2 or more people, and clear division of labor should be done to clarify the contact method between each other. There are special people to monitor the safety of the site and observe the test status of the test sample;

2. The transformer and control box should have reliable grounding;

3. During the test, the boosting speed must not be too fast, and sudden full-voltage power-on or power-off must not be allowed.

4. In the process of step-up or withstanding voltage test, if any of the following abnormalities are found, the pressure shall be immediately depressurized, and the power shall be cut off, the test shall be stopped, and the test shall be conducted after ascertaining the cause.

1 voltage meter pointer swings very much;

2 Insulated charred odors and smoke emission were found;

3 There was an abnormal sound in the test item.

5. During the test, if the sample is short-circuited or breakdown, the overcurrent relay in the control box will work. At this time, the regulator will be returned to zero, and the sample will be taken out after the power is cut off.

6. When performing capacitance test or DC high-pressure leakage test, after the test is completed, lower the voltage regulator to zero and cut off the power. Then, discharge the high-voltage terminal of the test sample or capacitor to the ground with the discharge rod to avoid The potential remaining in the capacitor is at risk of electric shock.
