Liaoning Quality Supervision Bureau sampled 40 batches of agricultural plastic pipes, 4 batches failed
[ Jiuzhi Plastics News] In the first quarter, Liaoning Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau conducted a supervision and spot check on the quality of agricultural plastic pipe products produced in the province. This time, a total of 40 batches of products produced by 37 agricultural plastic pipe products manufacturers were sampled. After inspection, 4 batches of products produced by 4 companies were unqualified. 
This supervision and spot check is based on QB/T 3803-1999 "Low Density Polyethylene Pipe for Sprinkler Irrigation", GB/T 13663-2000 "Polyethylene (PE) Pipe for Water Supply" and other enterprise standards and related requirements that are valid for enterprise filing. The following items of the product were tested: hydrostatic test, elongation at break, longitudinal rate, hydraulic test, tensile strength, flow uniformity, tensile pull-out resistance, hydrostatic pressure resistance test, burst pressure , opacity, size and so on.
The quality problems found in this spot check were unqualified items such as size (wall thickness) and tensile strength.
