China's deepest metal ore exploration started

The Nanling Scientific Drilling Project, the deepest drilling project currently underway in China's metal mining areas, recently drilled in Yudu, Jiangxi, marking the start of the deep exploration of the second prospecting space in the Duo-Yong County Polymetallic Ore Concentration Zone.

The “Deep Exploration Technology and Experimental Research” project is a cultivating start-up program for the “Crust Exploration Project”. Seven continental scientific drilling demonstration experimental areas have been set up nationwide. The Yudu-Yong County Ore Concentration Zone has an important strategic position because it spans the Nanling metallogenic belt and the Wuyishan metallogenic belt and is rich in mineral resources. It has become one of the key demonstration experimental areas for special scientific drilling.

According to reports, the location of Nanling Scientific Drilling is located in Yinkeng area of ​​Du County, and the designed depth of drilling is 3000 meters. It is a resource science drilling well that is implemented in the important mineralization belt in Nanling by the national special scientific and technological project “Deep exploration technology and experimental research”. It is also a pre-guided hole for ultra-deep continental scientific drilling in the future.

Its main goals are to understand the deep extensional structures of superficial geology, to predict the deep geological characteristics and ore-forming environment of the ore-gathering areas, to establish the deep metallogenic model of polymetallic ore accumulation areas, and to verify the integrated geophysical anomalies through the study of petrophysical properties. , Establishing a "barometer" for anomalous interpretation provides scientific parameters and technical reserves for deep geophysical exploration and ultra-deep scientific drilling; expands deep prospecting space and evaluates the potential of deep mineral resources.
