Application of luminescent materials in stage clothing

Abstract: Based on the concept of "engineering art and art engineering", research on the types, performances, features, effects and frontier development and application of luminescent materials (faces, accessories, etc.) applied in stage clothing from the market demand. At the same time, the application of information technology, the sewing of new textile fabrics and the creative use of non-clothing luminescent materials were discussed.

With the continuous development and application of new materials and the rise of interdisciplinary fields in various fields, stage costumes can be used as a main role in the stage set to consciously and actively reflect the stage environment from the perspective of functionalization and intelligence; The material can rely on the advancement of technology to determine the dominant direction of the total design of the stage to a greater extent, thereby reducing the relative dependence on stage layout and lighting design.
At present, domestic stage costume research is still in its infancy, lacking in the production and in-depth research in the true sense of science and technology, and lacking more mature theoretical guidance. There are fewer research reports on luminescent materials in stage clothing, which makes its development greatly limit.
Through the discussion on the application of high-tech functional materials and information technology, the paper aims to improve the utilization value, product innovation and market share of rare earth luminescent materials in the textile and garment field, and provide reference for improving the stage scene, expressing the stage content and realizing the creative stage effect. .
1. Stage costumes and costumes (Ccostume of theatre or stagcostume) as part of the character, have their distinctive personality characteristics: closely related to life clothing, hypothesis is higher than practicality, dependence, distance, and false Dai Zhen [1-3] and so on. The stage costume materials pay attention to different material characteristics and physical and chemical indicators to produce different texture effects and morphological personality, and seek to correspond to the clothing image, and to give a certain definition to the role of the performance theme. Based on the characteristics of stage clothing, the application of special materials for stage costumes is summarized in Table 1 [1].

2. Application of luminescent materials in clothing New rearear luminesce materials are high-temperature processing of rare earth elements, which can convert various forms of energy absorbed from the outside into functional materials of unbalanced light radiation. At present, rare earth luminescent materials are widely used in three fields of illumination, display and detection. In recent years, domestic enterprises have developed rare earth luminescent materials such as visible light photoluminescence (also known as energy storage luminescent materials), ultraviolet photoluminescence, and electric (field) luminescence. The electric (field) power generation material is a kind of luminescent material that directly converts electric energy into light energy under the action of an electric field. Electroluminescence is further divided into high-field luminescent materials (also known as intrinsic luminescence) and low-field luminescence (also known as injective luminescence). The former luminescent materials are inorganic powders, thin film materials and organic materials, and the latter are transistor material light-emitting diodes [4].
2.1 Application of electroluminescent materials in clothing
2.1.1 Light-emitting diodes Light-emitting diodes, also called Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs), are energy-saving and environmentally-friendly semiconductor light-emitting devices that convert electrical energy into light energy. They are solid-state light sources. It belongs to the type of low electric field luminescent material in the electroluminescent material of rare earth luminescent materials. The market for luminescent materials in domestic stage apparel is slow to develop, and the performance of the lighting unit is relatively strong, but the market cannot provide corresponding products, which limits the design and selection of stage clothing.
2.1.2 Luminescent Neon Line Luminescent Wire, also known as Luminescent Wire, is a high-field luminescent material in electroluminescent materials (also known as intrinsic luminescence). The principle of illumination is when the two wires of the illuminating line or illuminating film are energized. An electric field is established in the luminescent layer, and the electron accelerates in the direction of the electric field under the action of the electric field. When the electric field strength is strong enough, the number of electrons in the moving state is sufficient, and the speed is fast enough, the electrons of the luminescent material are excited by the collision and the energy level transition occurs, and the illuminating line emits light. The working performance is shown in Table 2 [4].

At present, the application of simple illuminating neon lines in China has not been widely carried out, and it is more used in advertising, decoration, arts and crafts, entertainment stage, transportation and other fields. With the improvement of the market products, the special illuminating neon lines with sewing margins have been produced and applied in traffic safety clothing.
2.1.3 Rare Earth Luminescent Fibers Newrear earth luminous fibers are a new type of high-tech functional fiber, which is a light-emitting luminous luminescent material in rare earth luminescent materials. Since the rare earth element has more energy levels, when the rare earth ion receives visible light, the electron transitions from the ground state or the lower level to the upper level, and the absorbed light energy is stored in the fiber. In the absence of visible light, the electrons will transition from the excited state high energy level to the lower energy level or the ground state, and the light energy stored in the fiber will be emitted to form the emitted light, and the time at which the electrons are concentrated in the trap determines the time during which the luminescent material continues to emit light [5] -6]. Thereby the fibers are able to illuminate and the fibers appear in different colors depending on the difference in energy (see Figure 1) [7]. It has a strong absorption capacity for visible light with a wavelength of 450μm or less. After about 10 minutes of visible light irradiation, light energy can be stored in the fiber, and it can emit light at night or in the dark and release various colors. The afterglow is 10 h or more, and can be used indefinitely. In addition, the fiber avoids environmental pollution, is non-toxic, harmless and non-radioactive, and meets textile environmental protection requirements [8-9].

3 Application analysis of rare earth luminescent materials in stage clothing 3. 1 Verification application of LED The material selection of LED is shown in Table 3, and the application effect is shown in Figure 2.

The LED is a point-emitting illuminating effect, and its high-brightness radioactive light type has a bright special effect. In the production, on the one hand, the distance between the LED and the outer covering fabric and the mechanism and existence of the fabric itself can be used to shape different lighting effects; on the other hand, the stage costume can be staged by program setting and switch control. Intelligent response to meet the different needs of stage scenes, lighting and music. In addition, electronic clothing of different appearances and colors can meet the needs of more stage venues and reduce the complexity of the actors' midfield dressing. However, in its application design, due to the knowledge of information technology, the production of LED smart clothing has added many obstacles to many fashion design creators, and its control circuit board design, LED installation, wire connection is a process. Process production adds cumbersome processing steps.
3.2 Application of Illuminated Neon Line The effect of the illuminated neon line is shown in Figure 3. The illuminating neon line is uniformly illuminated in a linear shape, and has a high degree of softness and styling performance, which provides an optional structure for the garment. It can be used for any process of twisting, bending, knotting, cutting, splicing, etc., and tape, glue, pins, plastic cards, etc. do not damage the structure of the light-emitting line, and also have outline outlines, line expressions, and accessories on the stage clothing. Better availability. Compared with LEDs, the use of illuminating lines is simple, which simplifies the production of stage garments and avoids the limitations of professional fields. At the same time, it solves the shortage of LEDs in water washing, but the power supply and demand of the two are still to be further explored.

In addition, the illuminating neon line currently has a length limitation on the power supply, that is, the 3 V power supply can only provide 2 m long illuminating neon line illumination, and if the battery voltage is increased, the thin conductive wire will be burnt due to excessive power. Bad. Therefore, a luminous neon line of more than 2 m can be used with a driver of DC6V (2 ~ 5 m) or DC12 V (5 ~ 10 m).
3.3 Applications of luminous fabrics, luminescent powders, etc. The application of luminous fabrics and luminescent materials is shown in Figures 4 and 5. Luminous fabric, that is, a fabric made of rare earth luminescent fibers through a certain structure and a certain proportion of blended. It requires no power supply and is environmentally friendly and non-radiative. It is not affected by water washing and dyeing and can be processed in normal cutting process. Luminous fabrics have special visual effects in a matte environment. The different tightness, thickness and texture of the fabrics reflect different brightness, which makes the garments more layered. The larger the area, the higher the density, the brightness The higher. Due to its attenuation characteristics, the luminous fabric gradually weakens in the first 1min and then stabilizes (presents an exponential curve) [8].

The luminescent powder and the textile fiber pigment can be mixed into a luminescent coating under certain conditions. The paint can be processed by hand or by printing. However, in the course of use, attention should be paid to the selection of the fineness of the luminescent powder, and in the uniform blending process, a pigment blending liquid may be added to increase the adhesion adhesion between the luminescent powder and the pigment for the fiber.
4. Conclusion In recent years, the application of interdisciplinary subjects in clothing has meant the coming of the functional clothing era. Modern fashion design changes and breakthroughs are largely due to the increase in the technological content of apparel materials and the renewal of appearance patterns. The related design can be designed according to different intrinsic properties and appearance effects of the rare earth luminescent materials by large-area or partial embellishment or hybrid design, thereby utilizing the attenuation characteristics of the fabric to express different effects in different time periods. In this way, the functional and decorative effects of the luminescent fabric can be unified, and the practical value of the stage garment can be improved to increase its appreciation and aesthetics.
Stage costumes are a highly concentrated reflection of life clothing. Later research work can be returned to life clothing for practical exploration. For example, light-emitting suits for safety rescue in earthquakes and coal mining accidents can be contacted in the dark to take self-help or mutual Rescue measures, etc., in order to develop more new functional and intelligent clothing.
