PITTSBURGH: There has been some progress in labor negotiations in Jamaica's West Indian alumina plant (Windalco), but no agreement has been reached. According to the vice president of the trade union, at present, the negotiations are in a delicate phase, and there are still several issues to reach consensus, especially the one-time payment required by the workers. The Alpart of Jamaica Alpart agreed to this requirement of the workers.
