Improve the performance of electroplated diamond tools with strong oxidation technology

Abstract Electroplated diamond tools were prepared by strong oxidation treatment and diamond without strong oxidation treatment. The ceramic material is drilled to test the service life and performance of two different diamond preparation tools. The surface morphology of the diamond tool was observed by scanning electron microscope. The results show that there are large rough pits on the surface of the diamond particles which are strongly oxidized. The pits on the surface of the diamond particles increase the holding power of the coating on the diamond particles and enhance the adhesion. "Mechanical anchor chain" effect, the nickel surface phenomenon on the tool surface is greatly improved, the reduction of nickel tumor improves the processing efficiency and processing precision of the diamond; the removal volume of the alumina ceramic material is 1.3 times that of the diamond electroplated drill bit without strong oxidation treatment. Significantly improved grinding performance and service life of electroplated diamond tools.
