According to data released by the World Steel Association, global crude steel output in July increased by 2.7% over the same period of last year, reaching 132.32 million tons, a record high for the same period, and maintained a year-on-year growth for 11 consecutive months.

China's crude steel output in July increased by 6.2% year-on-year to 65.47 million tons, a record high in the same period, and the monthly output reached the fourth highest level in history. Under the background of the slowdown in domestic demand growth, Chinese steelmakers have increased their exports, and exports have exceeded 5 million tons for five consecutive months. In addition, the United States grew by 3.3% to 7.56 million tons, and strong car sales and residential construction played a pulling role. The EU, which continued to suffer from a downturn, fell 6% year-on-year to just 13.4 million tons, a year-on-year decline for 22 consecutive months.
