3, the power switch is placed in the off position and check the regulator position should be zero. The overvoltage protection setting is generally 1.1 times the test voltage.
4, no-load boost detection over voltage protection setting is sensitive.
5. Turn on the power switch. At this time, the green light indicates that the power is on.
6, press the red button, the red light, that high pressure connected.
7. Adjust the leveler gently in the clockwise direction. The output end is boosted from zero. After reaching the required voltage, record the ammeter reading according to the specified time, and check the control box and the high voltage output line for any abnormal phenomena or sound.
8, step down, will adjust the piezoelectric back to zero, then press the green button, cut off the high voltage and turn off the power switch.
9. Leak test and DC voltage withstand test on the test sample. After the inspection test is conducted to confirm that there is no abnormality in the tester, the leakage of the test sample and the DC withstand voltage test can be started. Connect the test sample, ground wire, etc., and turn on the power after checking.
10. Boost to the desired voltage or current. The boost rate is preferably 35KV per second. For large capacitance test samples, it is also necessary to monitor the charging current of the ammeter not exceeding the maximum charging current of the tester. For small capacitor samples such as zinc oxide surge arresters, magnetic discharge arresters, etc., first rise to 95% of the required voltage (power), then slowly and carefully rise to the required voltage (current), and then read the voltage from the digital meter ( Current value. If you want to measure the 0.75UDC1mA of the zinc oxide surge arrester, first increase the UDC to 1mA voltage value, then press the yellow button, then the voltage will be reduced to 75% and maintain this state. The microampere number can be read at this time. After the measurement is completed, adjust the piezo-resistor back to zero by pressing the green button. Press the red button when you need to boost it again. If necessary, use an external high voltage divider to compare the DC high voltage indication on the control box.
11, after the test, step down, turn off the power.
How to maintain a DC voltage tester?
1. Replace the hydraulic oil and clean the oil tank half a year. The recommended oil type must be used.
2. When the gas is hot, check whether the cooling device starts automatically when the oil temperature is ≥45°C. (Cooling water temperature must be less than 30 degrees)
3. Clean the air filter while cleaning the tank;
4. Regularly check the oil filter signal light of the DC high-voltage generator, the signal light is on (simultaneously the buzzer will sound), immediately clean the oil filter;
5. According to the regulations, the lubrication points of the machinery transmission part of the equipment need to be filled with oil;
6. Observe the liquid condition frequently. When the liquid level is close to the lower limit, please add the recommended hydraulic oil to the tank.
7. Regularly inspect the dustproof devices in various places and find that they are damaged or the connections are loose. They should be treated in time to prevent dust from mixing in and damage the equipment.
