China's aluminum electrolysis technology exported to India again

A few days ago, as the silver-white aluminum water in tank No. 1105 of Vedanta Company in India was slowly injected into the mold from the lift bag, the first phase of the 325-kiloampere electrolytic aluminum project invested by Chinalco produced the first aluminum ingot.


This indicates that Chinalco's second electrolytic technology output project has been successfully put into operation, and China's aluminum electrolysis technology has once again exported its output to victory.


The 325-kiloampere electrolysis project with an annual output of 500,000 tons of Vedanta Company was constructed in two phases, with a design scale of 608 electrolyzers. Designed by Chinalco International Guiyang Aluminum Magnesium Design Institute. The first phase of the project of an annual output of 250,000 tons of electrolytic aluminum project has been completed, and it will enter the stage of operation.


It is understood that this is the second technical assistance project exported by Chinalco's electrolysis technology after the successful completion of the 250,000-ton 320-kiloamp electrolytic project by Balco's subsidiary company, Vedanta. The technical assistance is mainly performed by Chinalco Guangxi. The company's electrolytic aluminum plant bears.


On December 18, 2007, Vedanta, India, sent a 35-person internship team to Chinalco Guangxi Branch to conduct on-site learning and training. Under the meticulous guidance of the Chinese technical staff, they initially mastered the advanced management technology and operation technology of the 320-kiloamp slot.
