2. Timely top dressing The first top dressing is carried out in the case of three or four true leaves of seedlings. Each 667 m2 can be applied with 2 to 4 kg of ammonium sulfate, 3 to 3.5 kg of superphosphate, and 1.5 to 2 kg of potassium. The second top dressing was carried out 20 to 25 days after the first top dressing, and 7 kg of ammonium sulfate, 3 to 3.5 kg of superphosphate, and 3 to 3.5 kg of potassium chloride were applied per 667 m2.
3. Appropriate amount of watering carrots should keep the soil moist throughout the growing season to facilitate plant growth and meaty root formation. In the summer and autumn drought, especially when the fleshy roots are swollen, it is necessary to increase the amount of watering in order to obtain high quality and high yield. If the water supply is insufficient, the roots are thin and rough; the water supply is uneven, and the fleshy roots are easily cracked.
