Click the client software on the download website to select the streaming media server software during installation. 1. Install and run the streaming media server software on the PC or server that will be the forwarding server. The contents of the software from top to bottom are the connection information area and the command information area. Note: When using streaming media, you need to shut down the PC or server's firewall. If there is a special need to disable the firewall, you need to map 554 and 1200-13000 port segments.
2. After running the software, add a streaming media server on the client PC. On the Device Management page, select the streaming server and choose Add Device.
3. In the dialog box that pops up, enter the IP address and port number of the PC or server running the streaming media server software and click OK. (If you do not modify the streaming server's port, use the default 554.)
4. Select the added streaming media server, click "Configure", and select the monitoring point that needs to take streaming media.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 for all other computer clients that need to be accessed. All of them can be added after completion. After the preview is added successfully, you can see the prompts in the connection information area and the command information area.
The possible reason why streaming media servers still have no effect after they are forwarded:
1. Some clients do not add streaming media servers and still obtain data streams through directly connected devices.
2. IE has no forwarding effect. After a PC accesses the device through IE, it already occupies a certain number of concurrent streams of the device. At this time, the client may fail to play the part of the channel through streaming media forwarding. At this point, you can turn off the IE preview test.
3. The streaming media server upload reaches the upper limit and cannot be forwarded. In this case, the number of routes to be forwarded does not reach the upper limit of the server network load capacity. At present, the forwarding capability of the 4200 streaming media server is 64 channels and 200 channels. (If the code stream is higher than 2M, the number of incoming and outgoing channels is corresponding Decrease; but if it is lower than 2M, the maximum number of inbound and outbound routes will remain unchanged.).
4. Running multiple streaming media server software, an image of a DVR is forwarded through different streaming media servers.
