Repair of roller overrunning clutch
The roller overrunning clutch is a one-way clutch, which is mainly used for speed conversion, reverse rotation prevention, intermittent motion, and the like. Roller overrunning clutches transmit torque using frictional forces generated by rollers, wedges (eccentric rollers), springs, etc., as shown in Figures 1 and 2. In Figure 2, the wedge angle a has a direct effect on the performance of the clutch. It is easy to make the α-hour wedge. If it is too small, the disengagement force is too large.
