A total of 459 batches of products manufactured by 407 companies were spot-checked. It is worth noting that there are 1 batch of products, nominally identified as “Scarecrow” ticket holder (Batch No. 2011-05) produced by the Hualun Dino Leather Factory in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, which was found to be unqualified for the decomposition of harmful aromatic amine dyes. Decomposable aromatic amine dyes are dyes that are synthesized from carcinogenic aromatic amines, which is often referred to as "disabling azo dyes."

It is reported that under certain conditions, azo dyes can decompose and reduce more than 20 kinds of aromatic amines with carcinogenicity. This kind of dyes will harm human health in the process of long-term contact with the human body.
