International Machine Tool Industry Summit was held in Shenyang
On the afternoon of September 1, 2010, the “2010 China Shenyang International Machine Tool Industry Summit†kicked off at the Shenyang Marriott Hotel. The summit was co-sponsored by the Shenyang Municipal People's Government and the China Machine Tool Industry Association. It was jointly hosted by Shenyang Machine Tool (Group) Co., Ltd. and the Shenyang Institute of Computing Technology, China Academy of Sciences, and was founded by domestic and foreign machine tool industry enterprises and research institutes. Nearly 240 people from universities and industry media representatives attended the summit.

The Machine Tool Industry Summit was hosted by Liu Hequn, deputy director of the Shenyang Economic and Information Committee. In the keynote speech stage of the afternoon, first, the Deputy Secretary-General of the China Machine Tool Industry Association Mao Yufeng gave a speech entitled “The Status and Development Trend of China's Machine Tool Industryâ€; Director General of the Taiwan Machine Industry Association Wang Zhengqing made a speech entitled “Taiwan Machine Tool Lecture on the status quo and development of the industry; Lu Bingheng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University, gave a speech entitled “Major machine tool specialization for the development of Chinese machine toolsâ€; Dimaji Beijing General Manager Shan Xilin introduced the international Future technology development trend and technological innovation of machine tools; Director of Technology Co., Ltd. and Director of Technology, Ron Kant, described the development trend of the international machine tool industry and various functions of intelligent machine tools; Guan Xiyou, chairman and general manager of Shenyang Machine Tool (Group) Co., Ltd. The speech entitled “Building an international communication platform to enhance the competitiveness of the machine tool industryâ€.
On September 2nd, exchanges will be held in three sub-forums such as “New Machine Tool New Products and New Technology Exchange Conferenceâ€.
