Future street lights powered by the sun and wind
![]() |
Many of our street lights are high-pressure sodium lamps. They are cheap and durable, but they are relatively energy-efficient. Among the many alternatives to high-pressure sodium lamps, the energy-saving effect of solar street lamps can be much stronger than that of sodium lamps. But its flaws are also quite obvious. When it comes to hazy weather, it can only emit dark light and it cannot meet the needs of street lighting. In view of this, SavWatt, which specializes in LED street lighting, added a miniature wind turbine based on solar street lighting and introduced a new street lamp named Eco-Pole that can use both wind and sunlight.
SavWatt has pioneered the reform of green lighting for LED lamps. The Eco-Pole hybrid street light it developed has already applied for a US patent. Eco-Pole's 60-watt LED lamp can run for 50,000 hours without maintenance. It relies entirely on two 90-watt solar cells and a top 300-watt miniature wind turbine. Two solar cells store 36 hours of electricity for LED lights. The blades of the turbine are waterproof, rustproof and low noise. In addition to using less energy than ordinary street lights (250 watts or more), there is no need for excessive maintenance.
As early as June this year, SavWatt installed the first fully self-contained Eco-Pole without a connection to the grid in front of the Department of Transportation in Washington. Recently, due to the incompetence of competitors' development of pure solar street lights, SavWatt received an order from the US military base in Knocksburg to install Eco-Pole in an important position in the garrison area.
In addition to consuming precious non-renewable energy, we inevitably pollute the atmosphere during the process of power generation. If we can reduce the use of electricity, it is definitely a benefit to the environment. Therefore, if the price of Eco-Pole is reasonable, it is verified that there is less failure rate and is used than ordinary street lamps, then there is still a certain market.
Bias Airway buffing wheel, also called as airway buffs, airflow buffs, Ventilated buffs. The special air folded structure brings bias airway buffing polishing wheel strong cutting force, high brightness, fine finishing, can cool the workpiece surface at a very short time. Make airway buffing polishing wheel widely use on metal and non metal products polishing, such as wood, stainless steel, aluminum, copper etc. Involved in variety of industries: furniture, automobile spare part, hardware, building materials, etc.
Airway buffs are a type of buffing and polishing wheel that is made up of multiple plys of cotton Cloth attached to a steel center plate. Each cloth layer of these 16-ply wheels is attached to the steel plate in a way that forces the cotton to form pleats.
High-speed buffing and polishing wheels can create a lot of heat from the constant friction of the wheel, surface being buffed, and Polishing Compound grinding at the same time. The fold are designed to increase airflow so that you can buff and polish at a lower temperature. This allows you to work continuously longer than traditional polishing wheels, extends the overall serving life of the airway buff, and lowers the chance of causing damage or burn to the object you are polishing.
The different colors of airway buffs are not there to let you work with your favorite color. Each of these colors has a different firmness/softness of the cloth pieces which are meant for different steps in the polishing process. You should also consider pairing each color buffing wheel with the appropriate color buffing compounds.
